The TOP101 of Latvia's most valuable companies of 2023, compiled by the investment banking Prudentia and the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange, has been published.
In the financial sector, which is represented by international and local companies operating in Latvia, Rietumu Banka ranks fourth.
Though, according to TOP101 data, Rietumu Banka is the most valuable financial sector company with local capital.
Likewise, Rietumu Banka ranks fifth in the TOP101 ranking of Latvian private companies of local capital of all sectors.
"The ranking shows, that there is real value in Latvian corporates - both foreign owned and those with local capital. This signals that there is potential for both the capital markets and also private investment either as a direct acquisition or via mergers. We as a bank are seriously looking into this dimension of growth," noted Jeļena Buraja, Chairman of the Executive Board of Rietumu Banka.
Rietumu Banka ranks 21st in the overall list of companies operating in Latvia.
Rietumu Banka has been one of the leaders of the TOP101 local companies ranking already for several years in a row.
